General Enquiries

ARE WARRANTIES PROVIDED AND HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

Yes all watches sold through the Time Centre website have a warranty that lasts 2 years from the date of purchase. Some of our suppliers only offer 1 year, however Time Centre offers a 2 year warranty period for all watches sold on our website. During this period any repairs or replacements will be done free of charge. However the customer may be subject to the cost of shipping the product back to us. Upon expiration of the warranty period, any repairs will be subject to an additional charge.

 

WHAT IS COVERED IN THE WARRANTY?

Our watches are made according to the high-quality standards of our suppliers. Nonetheless, our watches are covered by our limited warranty against any defects in manufacturing.

The following is not covered by the warranty and can only be repaired at an additional charge:

  • Defects and damages due to loss, theft, water, fire or natural disaster
  • Damage due to improper use, carelessness or accidents
  • Damage due to repair or modification by non-authorized persons (ie. Parties other than Time Centre)
  • Cosmetic damages due to normal wear & tear (eg. scratches, peeling of the strap, alteration of colour etc)
  • Life of the battery

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET MY WATCH REPAIRED DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

If your watch needs repairing and is within the 2 year warranty period and the damage is covered by the warranty we will repair or replace your watch free of charge. Please ensure you have proof of purchase, either in the form of a warranty card, invoice or order confirmation email from Time Centre. Without proof of purchase we are unable to offer this service.
To get your watch repaired please email support@timecentredubai.com and attach your proof of purchase, order number, and pictures of the damage if applicable. Please note that the customer may be subject to the cost of shipping the product back to us.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WATCH CANNOT BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED?

In the event that it is not possible to repair your watch or replace it with the same product, we will replace it with a watch of identical or similar characteristics.

We accept Visa / Mastercard for payments made through our website as well as Cash on Delivery

 

DO YOU STORE MY PAYMENT INFORMATION AND IS IT SAFE TO MAKE ONLINE PAYMENTS?

Yes it is safe to make online payments through the Time Centre webpage. Time Centre does not receive or store any personal information with relation to your payment. MY CARD DETAILS HAVE BEEN REJECTED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please retry ensuring you’re entered the following details correctly:

  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • CVV code (three digit number on back of the card)
  • Card holder’s name
  • Any other security steps from your bank

Please also ensure there is sufficient funds/credit on your card.
If none of the above resolves the issues, please contact your bank

 

WHAT CURRENCY ARE PRICES DISPLAYED IN AND IS VAT INCLUDED?

The prices on the website are all stated in AED. Prices include 5% VAT.

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

You do not need an account to place an order. You can place your order as a guest user by entering your email address.

 

CAN I VIEW PAST ORDERS?

You can view past orders if you have created an account with us. All orders through your account can be viewed by going to the your account which can be found on the top right of the page. Then go to ‘My Orders’ on the left hand side of the page

 

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED?

If you have successfully placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.

 

CAN I RESERVE ITEMS TO BUY LATER?

Unfortunately, Time Centre do not operate a reserve system through this website.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF A PRODUCT I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK?

If there is a product that is currently out of stock on our website that you want, please email support@timecentredubai.com and we will try our best to get it back in stock for you.

 


Product

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED THE BATTERY REPLACED?

Batteries fitted in our watches are expected to last between 2-4 years, depending on external factors.
If your watch’s battery needs replacing, please contact the nearest watch store or watch repairs store near you. We are able to offer battery replacements, however it will be at an additional cost as it is not covered by the warranty. Please email support@timecentredubai.com if you’d like Time Centre to replace your watch’s battery.

 

IS MY WATCH WATERPROOF?

Our watches are water resistance to everyday use and light rain, however they are not waterproof. Therefore we recommend you avoid contact with water such as wearing the watch while swimming, showering, bathing or any other activity that exposes your watch to direct water contact.
The exception to the above is where it’s mentioned otherwise in the product features/description that it’s waterproof, for example the Festina Diver collection.
Please note that water damage is not covered by the warranty.

 

I HAVE A PROMO CODE, HOW DO I USE IT?

Promo codes can be entered on the ‘My Shopping Cart’ page, in the box that says ‘Promo Code Here’. Ensure that the promo code is entered exactly as it appears and that there are no additional spaces before or after the code is entered, then click ‘Apply’.
Please note that only one promo code is valid per order and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or sale.

 

WILL MY WATCH FIT ME?

If your watch has a Mesh strap with a Milanese / fold over clasp, you can easily adjust the size of the watch yourself at home. You will need a safety pin or a similar small item to adjust the size. Please note that due to the coating of the clasp, the clasp may initially be a bit stiff and therefore difficult to open & close at first.

For watches with bracelet straps we have provided you the ability to select your wrist size while adding your item to your basket. We will then adjust the size of the bracelet to fit your wrist. This service is complimentary. You will also receive the additional links in case you need to make any further sizing adjustments. Please note that for further sizing adjustments you will need to go to your local watch store.
